We’ll be transitioning to an assignment system for Wednesday night childcare – I’ll assign, and we can shift things if folks aren’t available. I anticipate needing a few extra volunteers.

• Wednesday House Fellowship Childcare
  • We will continue using volunteers for this role, and can re-evaluate if needed later.
  • As a principle, we’d like to keep Church work filled by volunteers from the body instead of paying someone.
• Stream Quality Upgrades
  • Derek is making changes and trying some new things with the stream to improve the overall quality, with a focus on music.
  • We have backup options (beyond simply fiddling with things to improve quality) that we will move to if we don’t create improvement in February.

Our first outreach event of the year will take place tonight at the Fun Galaxy skating rink from 6PM – 8PM. Please let our Deacon Eduardo know any questions you have. The next event is outreach at the Flea Market, Saturday February 8, 8:30am – 11am with lunch after for folks who attend.

• Our goal is to keep nursery and Sunday School volunteers to once per month, to minimize the number of times people miss the teaching.
• Wednesday night childcare volunteer slots are available in Planning Center, and we’d like to have the folks volunteering there (from outside the Wednesday night group) not have to serve more than once per month as well. Thanks to Meghan, Tamlyn, and Shannon for stepping up already this month.
