• Our next Flea Market Ministry is 9AM – 12PM on Saturday December 30. If you have any interest in evangelism or reaching the local community, this is the place to start.
• The Advance (our annual Church retreat) will be held Friday January 12 through Monday January 15. More details to come; the event is likely to have a per-person cost this year.
• The next 18 months of House Fellowship content will be:
  • In 2024: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy
  • First half of 2025: Joshua, Judges, Ruth
• Pickup basketball is occurring after service.

  • Jonathan and Sarah’s wedding shower that evening, December 2, demonstrating that their marriage will be more important than Georgia football.

  • Sunday School children won’t go out to the playground if they are finished before the message is done.
  • Sunday, November 26 is the first Sunday where all people working with children must have Protect My Ministry clearance.

• We have OHC outreach cards available during our Sunday meeting. If you’d like, please take a few to use while inviting people.
• Please check your email and spam for an email from “Protect My Ministry.” If you can’t find it, please contact Jess. After Thanksgiving, only people who have completed the training may serve with children.

• Check your email spam folders for an email from “message@mobilizemyministry.com.” Emails going out to people for background checks and training come from that email.
• We need three adult volunteers for this coming Sunday, one to assist in Sunday School (alongside the teacher) and two for the nursery. Please contact Jessica to fill these roles.
• As a reminder, only parents are to retrieve children from Sunday School and Nursery.
• The Boyds are hosting a Fall Festival on October 31 at their farm. Please see Claire’s post in Slack for what you can bring, and inform her if you plan to contribute.
• The OHC website (www.onehopeathens.com) is now having info and function added to it, to serve as the one-stop-shop for OHC info. Let me (Zach) know what information or resources you’d like to see there and I’ll put them on my list for consideration!
