• Children
  • Sunday School children won’t go out to the playground if they are finished before the message is done.
  • Sunday, November 26 is the first Sunday where all people working with children must have Protect My Ministry clearance.
  • We’re working on how to communicate what/where/when of childcare and Sunday School to visitors.

  • Claire will be running team role sign-ups for the remainder of the calendar year
    Discussed a number of practical upgrades for the space and setup process

  • The Elders are discussing what approach to take with the Advance this year. Thoughts and input is appreciated!

  • Elders (Chet, Derek, Marcus) and Deacons (Bonnie, Jess, Eduardo, Zach) are writing role descriptions so each person’s role is clear

• Outreach at the Flea Market is Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9AM – 12PM.
• We have OHC outreach cards available during our Sunday meeting. If you’d like, please take a few to use while inviting people.
• Please check your email and spam for an email from “Protect My Ministry.” If you can’t find it, please contact Jess. After Thanksgiving, only people who have completed the training may serve with children.

• Check your email spam folders for an email from “message@mobilizemyministry.com.” Emails going out to people for background checks and training come from that email.
• We need three adult volunteers for this coming Sunday, one to assist in Sunday School (alongside the teacher) and two for the nursery. Please contact Jessica to fill these roles.
• As a reminder, only parents are to retrieve children from Sunday School and Nursery.
• The Boyds are hosting a Fall Festival on October 31 at their farm. Please see Claire’s post in Slack for what you can bring, and inform her if you plan to contribute.
• The OHC website (www.onehopeathens.com) is now having info and function added to it, to serve as the one-stop-shop for OHC info. Let me (Zach) know what information or resources you’d like to see there and I’ll put them on my list for consideration!
